Hallmark used suicidal threats in Valentine’s Day cards

This is quite possibly the greatest Hallmark card ever made. That is, if it’s real.

Check out this Valentine’s Day card (see it all after the jump) apparently from the 1950s showing a lovelorn skunk holding a pistol to his head and threatening to pull the trigger if you won’t love him. As if that threat weren’t enough, the skunk has a noose wrapped around his neck and attached to a boulder that he’s threatening to drop off a dock into deep water. The cards tagline: “I’ll be sunk if you won’t be my Valentine!”
