Gushing for Ron

Thanks to today’s Kansas City Star, I now know more about Rupert Grint than I really ever cared to know. In its effort to capitalize on the Harry Potter craze, the Star ran not one but two(!) interviews with the 18-year-old redhead who plays Ron Weasley. First, we have Robert Butler’s rather straightforward account in Preview. Then there’s TeenStar writer Rebecca Delaney’s gushing screed, which focuses mainly on her luv of Ronpert. Her panting prose reads like a Barbara Cartland romance, all overheated virgins stammering and turning to mush whenever they get around the princely heroes. Or so I’ve heard.
