Global Entrepreneurship Week—Kansas City (GEWKC), the metro’s largest annual, multiday educational event for aspiring entrepreneurs and seasoned business owners, is returning for a 16th year and runs Nov. 13-19.

Since its founding in 2008 by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the event has inspired business ideas all over the world, expanding to over 170 countries.

“Global Entrepreneurship Week – Kansas City is the best way for the KC metro’s doers, dreamers, and makers to gain new skills, make key connections, and move their business or business idea forward,” says Michael Carmona of KCSourceLink, which has organized GEWKC since 2008. “This is the best way to tap into KC’s huge entrepreneur community, which also features 230+ support organizations and entrepreneurship experts who can bolster your business and inspire you to reach that next level, clear those hurdles and be great. There’s something for everyone, no matter if you’re starting a side hustle or looking to scale your operations.”

Both virtual and in-person classes will be provided, along with networking opportunities, food, drink, and a pitch competition. Business experts will be present to impart their knowledge and answer questions.

Along with the sessions throughout the week, there will be in-person base camp sessions at Plexpod Westport at Park 39 in Midtown from Nov. 15-17, which will consist of back-to-back content so that attendees can get the most out of just a few days.

Attendees can sign up for classes here and find more information about GEWKC here.
