Glenn Beck’s would-be assassin prepared for straitjacket
Casey Brezik, the lunatic accused of stabbing a community college dean last fall, is one step closer to having his mental illness formally recognized by the state. “Time is limited,” Brezik announced on Monday, after a Jackson County judge ruled that he was incompetent to stand trial.
Brezik is clearly sick, but that didn’t stop professional wing nut Glenn Beck from wanting to attach a more enthralling narrative to the attack, which occurred on a day that Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon was planning to visit the Penn Valley campus of Metropolitan Community College. “He had a political agenda,” Beck stated on his radio show in January in an attempt to find meaning in the lack of media coverage of the incident.
