Glenn Beck says New York Times columnist’s comments about Missouri, Kansas could lead ‘to death camps’

New York Times columnist David Carr said something really stupid on Real Time With Bill Maher Friday night. Maher was railing against New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for refusing to answer a question about his views on evolution. (The meat of the conversation starts at about the four-minute mark in the video.) Maher joked that it was OK for evolution to be challenged in Kansas or Alabama because they’re not among “the smart states.” To which Carr replied: “If it’s Kansas, Missouri, no big deal. You know, that’s the dance of

the low-sloping foreheads. The middle places, right? Did I just say that aloud?”

Carr has since offered this apology via Twitter: “To all of America, at least the middle place that I come from, I apologize for saying something so, so dumb on Bill Maher last night. #choke” Yes, so, so dumb. But Glenn Beck will not be outdone.
