Crossroads artist and restaurant owner Stretch has done nothing if not fight City Hall. His most recent battle is over his proposed outdoor concert venue behind his place, Grinders.

The issue now is that Stretch needs city approval of an auxiliary parking-lot agreement with Crown Center for the venue.

The meeting is at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the council chambers on the 26th floor of City Hall, 414 East 12th Street. Show some support so you’ll be able to catch the opening salvo of blood and semen at the Gwar show in August. – Peter Rugg
