Giovani Martinez-Carino identified as Friday’s homicide victim in KCK (updated)
Update (8:41 a.m. June 1): KCK police say 18-year-old Giovani Martinez-Carino was the victim of Friday’s homicide in the 600 block of Sandusky Avenue.
Martinez-Carino is from Oakland, California.
Original story (5 a.m. June 1): A “suspicious death” investigation in the 600 block of Sandusky Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas, on Friday has been upgraded to a homicide investigation.
Officers searching for a wanted person found the body of a Hispanic man in his late teens was found inside a residence around 4:43 p.m. Friday.
At last word, KCK police were asking for help finding a vehicle, which they described as a gray or silver late 2000 model four-door car, possibly a Buick, with aftermarket silver-colored rims and an unknown California license plate.
