Get Up Kids Show At Harrah’s Is 21+

Straight from their Twitter this morning, it’s been announced that the Get Up Kids‘ kick-off for their full-bore reunion tour will be 21 and up. Such is the case because Harrah’s is a casino, and Missouri laws require you to be 21 to gamble.
Specifically (from the Licensed Gaming Activities statutes):
313.817.1.4: “A person under twenty-one years of age shall not make a wager on an excursion gambling boat and shall not be allowed in the area of the excursion boat where gambling is being conducted[…]”
What that basically means is that since you have to walk through the casino to get to the concert hall, you can’t do it if you’re 20 and under. If this were in Kansas, you’d be free and clear, because their casino gaming age is 18.
Sorry. Wish there was some advice I could give you folks who thought this was a lock. I hope they took IDs when they sold tickets, or this is going to be one hell of a boondoggle.
