Gerry’s Silver Slipper reopens Thursday
Troubled strip club Gerry’s Silver Slipper reopens today. In March, liquor control shut down the club at 4704 Independence Ave.

The 66 day suspension came a series of robberies and a
brawl involving 20 people, including three people were stabbed several
times in February.
Then, on February 6, two men were shot to death in the parking lot between Gerry’s and O’Reilly Auto Parts. Kansas City police identified the men as Drell D. Fisher and Reginald L. Barnes, both 33-years-old and from
Kansas City, Kansas. This post set off a series of wild comments between two women claiming to be Fisher’s girlfriend.
