The KC-Lawrence area will be well-represented when the The World Series of Pop Culture premieres this week on VH1, thanks to teams “Westerburg High,” led by Smackdown Trivia quizmaster Andy Morton, and “Wocka Wocka,” featuring Pitch contributor Robert Bishop; his wife, Kelly; and her best friend, Rachel.

Although contestants are forbidden to divulge the game’s outcome, Bishop, a senior copywriter at Crossroads ad agency Salva O’Renick, was able to share some of his experiences in his team’s quest for supreme geekdom.
