Gay penguins retain influence over NKC students

Well, it’s all over. Gay bestiality has carried the day. Weep for a future of glitter and quacking.
Last Tuesday, the North Kansas City School board voted 5-2 against a proposal to launch an age-appropriate review process for the district’s library books. The policy could have resulted in implementation of more local-friendly guidelines than those already in place at the federal level, allowing for the removal of books deemed inappropriate for NKC students. The only board members to support the idea were Kathleen Harris (the board member who requested it in the first place) and Phil Holloway.
The proposal came out of late December discussions about the possibility of banning And Tango Makes Three from school libraries. Its story — based on real-life events — of two male penguins raising a baby penguin as a healthy family was just too damn swishy. During the meetings Holloway noted that to think the book was just about penguins would be naive to say the least. The board voted to keep the book on the shelves, but Harris asked for further review of the district’s guidelines.
Now it’s just a matter of time until some fabulous toddler installs a disco ball at the zoo. Thanks a lot, NKC.
