GH: Isn’t it sad that the Golden Age of baseball is now, when the Royals are suffering through their worst decade in the team’s history?

GH: If you were wondering whether Kietzman has apologized for his ignorant stance on Peña, he hasn’t. Because he is one of 810’s owners, it appears the only reprimand he’ll receive will be from the public.

GH: Many people thought similarly about Royals crowds back in the late ’80s. Taking a fanbase for granted is one of the quickest ways to lose it.
