Fully legal: Parkville Microbrew Fest celebrates its 21st year
For the 21st year, the Parkville Microbrew Fest will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 1 – 5 p.m. at English Landing Park in Historic Downtown Parkville, Missouri. Attendees receive a commemorative tasting glass to enjoy unlimited samples from a variety of breweries.
Since its founding in 2004, the festival has expanded from eight breweries to 60 breweries and homebrew clubs participating in 2025. This year, six food trucks and three live bands round out the experience.
“We love attending Parkville Brewfest,” says past attendee Bella Rainey, who already has made plans with friends to attend this year’s festival. “It is truly a bang for your buck to try some of the best beer out there! I always learn about a new brew each year. Plus, the food trucks, live music, and vibe overall is always amazing.”
The festival opens at 11 a.m. for attendees to enjoy the park, live music, and food before sampling officially starts at 1 p.m. Tickets are $49 in advance, and $60 at the gate pending sell-out. Designated drivers receive free admission.
The festival relies on volunteers, and the proceeds support Main Street Parkville Association’s free community events such as the Fourth of July Celebration, Parkville Days, and Christmas on the River. Volunteer applications are available for two-hour shifts, and include free admission and a branded t-shirt.
For those considering attending for the first time, Rainey has some tips for making the most of the afternoon. “For new people, I’d say drink lots of water. No need to pregame. The ‘game’ will be plenty. Oh and bring your own food if you want! It’s allowed! Most people don’t realize that.”
