Fucked Up at the Jackpot, May 3

Amazing shows that are must-sees are being announced left and right lately, and we’re going to do our best to let you know about them in a timely fashion without overloading you. This is one that I’ve been hoping to announce for a couple weeks now. I’d heard rumors that KJHK was bringing Fucked Up to Lawrence as part of their big station move, and while I don’t know if it’s the radio station’s doing, they’re certainly coming.

They’ll be appearing at the Jackpot on Monday, May 3. I’m excitedly awaiting a chance to see the forward-thinking hardcore powerhouse that is the band without fear of physical injury. The last time they came through, I was five days removed from gallbladder surgery. Still went, still had my mind blown. You should do the same. Tickets will be $14 for 20-and-under, $12 for 21+.
