Frontier adding several nonstop flights to new cities from KCI

As someone from Kansas City who recently lived in Durham, I can state with confidence that it was very annoying to travel between Kansas City International Airport and Raleigh-Durham International Airport. There were no direct flights. It required stopping over in some dumb place like St. Louis, or some stupidly busy airport like the one in Atlanta. It sucked.

But no more. Today, Frontier Airlines announced a massive expansion of flights in the U.S. It includes 85 new routes and service to 21 new cities.

In Kansas City, you will soon be able to fly direct to (and return back direct from):

*Raleigh-Durham International Airport

*Cancun International Airport

*Southwest Florida International Airport (serves Fort Myers, Florida)

*Tampa International Airport

Frontier will begin offering service from KC to Cancun, Southwest Florida, and Tampa starting in December.

KC to Cancun and Tampa routes will run on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

The KC-to-Southwest Florida flight will run Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Direct flights from KC to Raleigh-Durham begin in early 2018. The schedule for those flights has not yet been announced.

To celebrate, Frontier is offering super-cheap, limited-time fares starting at $39 one-way. You can explore those here
