Friday the 13th comes to Rewind Video in haunted holiday spectacular

Looking for something spooky to do in Kansas City this Friday the 13th? Jason Voorhees is taking over Rewind Video and Dive for a night of bloody good fun beneath Screenland Armour [408 Armour Rd.]

Starting at 7 p.m., host Scary Gary Cooper—former co-host of Slaughter Movie House—will be “Jason-izing” Rewind. He will be playing all the films on VHS, bringing his NES and Nintendo Switch so you can play Friday the 13th games—both new and old—or you can grab one of their specialty cocktails designed for the event.

Camp Blood is a rye old fashioned with some amaro for the blood color and smoky bitters to give a campfire vibe. Jason’s Punch consists of rum, triple sec, creme de cassis, orgeat, and lime juice. 

Afterwards, you can head upstairs and catch a showing of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter at Screenland, which starts at 9:30 p.m.
