Free State Brewing Co. brings Burroughser Weisse and eight other beers to Overtime Sports Bar & Grill for a tap takeover tonight

If you haven’t made it to Lawrence yet to try Free State Brewing Co.’s Burroughser Weisse, stop the car.

Free State is saving you a trip and taking over the taps at the Overtime Sports Bar & Grill (11300 West 135th Street, Overland Park) tonight for the Sunflower Showdown men’s basketball game. 

So while you’re watching the Jayhawks and Wildcats hoop it up, you can sip on Free State’s tribute to former Lawrence resident William S. Burroughs –  a wheat beer in the style of a Berliner Weisse – and eight other beers on tap. 

Free State is bringing with them: Ad Astra Ale, Brinkley’s Maibock, Copperhead Pale Ale, Oatmeal Stout, Old Backus Barleywine, Stormwatch Ale, Wheat State Golden, Winterfest IPA.

Unfortunately, Free State won’t be bringing any of the sweet Burroughs glassware with them. We hear they’re going fast.
