Free concerts abound this summer

The city of Lawrence released the bands that will play this summer’s Brown Bag Concert series. Every Thursday from June 10 through July 29, there will be a free concert from noon-1:00 p.m. in front of U.S. Bank at the corner of 9th and Massachusetts. In addition, Zona Rosa has up a list of their summer concerts. Every Thursday night — starting this week on May 27, and running all the way through the end of September — there will be free jazz on Town Square from 7-9:00 p.m. And, every Friday and Saturday (also starting this week), there will be more free concerts.
