Franklin Grammer pleads guilty to shooting estranged wife in head, killing her

Franklin L. Grammer Jr. pleaded guilty to second-degree murder

yesterday, a little more than a year after ambushing his estranged wife, Betty Jo Grammer, while she was painting a house in Fairway, Kansas, slapping her in a headlock and shooting her in the head, mortally wounding her.

Franklin Grammer also pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree murder for shooting another man.
