Former Wizard Uche Okafor commits suicide in Texas home

Former Kansas City Wizard Uche Okafor was found dead at his home in Little Elm, Texas, Thursday, having hanged himself.

Okafor,

43, was a Nigerian soccer star who played with the

Wizards from 1996 to 2000 and finished his career with the team. He was also on the Nigerian World Cup team

in both 1994 and 1998. According to Associated Press reports, his body

was discovered hanging in an upstairs hallway by his wife.
