Fire destroys Kansas City mosque; blaze ruled suspicious, KCTV5 reports

A fire that destroyed a Kansas City mosque is now being called “suspicious,” according to KCTV5. The blaze started around 3 a.m. at the mosque on the first floor of a three-story building at 4614 St. John Avenue and was under control about an hour later. KMBC reported that the blaze was a three-alarm fire.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire. If this fire was set intentionally, which the word “suspicious” implies, this could become one of the most disturbing stories we’ve seen this year.
