Father, son dead in Lone Jack double shooting; murder-suicide suspected

The story of a father abandoning his 6-year-old son at a bus stop was sickening. Thankfully, it didn’t reach this tragic point: Police in Lone Jack are investigating a possible murder-suicide after a father and son were found shot to death Tuesday night.

Fox 4 reported Wednesday morning that the dead were a father and son and police suspect a murder-suicide. No names have been released yet. What we do know is relatives discovered the bodies in a home in the 300 block of Pecan Tree Avenue around 7 p.m.
