Fairs of Art

An artful KC weekend is coming to a close. But there’s still time to pick up something precious at the 76th-annual Plaza Art Fair on the Country Club Plaza. The fair is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. At 1 p.m., see the Grand Marquis on the event’s main stage. Call 816-753-0100 for more information.
There’s also the 16th annual UnPlaza Art Fair at All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church (4501 Walnut). Artists who showcase there donate a portion of their proceeds to Peaceworks, a nonprofit organization that promotes — duh! — world peace. The fair ran from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and is open from noon to 5 p.m. today. See peaceworkskc.org for more information.
