Expect more “Save Our Jobs” rallies

Looks like that “Save Our Jobs” rally was kinda timely. The Kansas City Business Journal reports that an automotive industry analyst says Ford could close the automotive side of its Claycomo assembly plant by 2011. Global Insight’s Haig Stoddard told the Biz Journal that he isn’t certain but from what he’s seen, the plants in KC and Wayne, Michigan, “have the highest possibility of closing.” Not so great news for the 4,300 workers at the Claycomo plant.
