Every Mojo Nixon Album Available For Free on Amazon

While sitting in my pajamas the other night, eating my dinner of beer and popcorn while I watched A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2: Freddy’s Revenge (admit it: you want my life), I was trying to figure out what albums I needed to upgrade.
See, I’ve a problem I’m sure many of us who came of age during the ’80s can relate to: I’ve got a bunch of albums on vinyl and cassette that I need to have on MP3, so I can listen to them somewhere other than my living room or basement.
One of the albums I dearly love, but only own on cassette, was found for 99 cents at the Lawrence Goodwill a few years back, and has since become a staple for me at work: Mojo Nixon‘s Root Hog or Die. Well, in addition to the brilliance that is that album’s “Chicken Drop” and “Debbie Gibson Is Pregnant with My Two-Headed Love Child,” I figured I needed to get whatever album “Elvis Is Everywhere” is on (for the record, it’s Bo-Day-Shus!!!), so I checked out Nixon’s website.
Lo and behold, Mojo has not only come out his retirement, releasing Whiskey Rebellion, a collection of previously unreleased tracks, but he’s got all of his albums (the new one, plus seven studio albums) for free on Amazon MP3 until the end of October.
So, seriously — point your browser of choice over there, and get to downloading.
