Emmanuel Menifield, KCMO homicide 29: Drive-by victim dies
Emmanuel Menifield, one of the five victims of Sunday morning’s drive-by shooting in the 5800 block of Olive, has died.
Shots were fired at the victims, who were standing around a parked car, from a car driving by. No vehicle description has been released.
The shooting left the 21-year-old Menifield and another man in his twenties with life-threatening injuries. Bot were hospitalized. Menifield’s death was announced Monday.
A 13-year-old boy was shot, but his injuries were non-life threatening. A man and woman in their twenties were treated at the scene for minor gunshot wounds.
