Ediel Lazoya shot and killed in KCK on Sunday

Update (10:20 a.m. September 20): The victim of Sunday’s homicide was 26-year-old Ediel Lazoya of Kansas City, Kansas.

Original Story (7 a.m. September 20): Kansas City, Kansas, police are investigating a second homicide within the last two days. A Hispanic man was shot and killed inside a home in the 1100 block of Garfield Avenue around 9:04 p.m. Sunday.

At last word, police are still looking for the killer. The victim’s name hasn’t been released, and we won’t hear it until the man’s family is identified.
