Ed Sheeran to Open Rolling Stones’ June 27 Show in Kansas City

It will be a British invasion in Kansas City next month. The Rolling Stones will make a stop at Arrowhead Stadium on June 27 and have enlisted the help of British superstar Ed Sheeran to open the show. It will be the iconic group’s 10th gig along its 15-show Zip Code Tour, which continues through mid-July.

The Kansas City gig also serves as the cheapest show along the six-week tour. According to TiqIQ, the average price for Rolling Stones tickets in Kansas City is $208.57 on the secondary market, 27.4% below the $287.57 median price across all 15 shows. The cheapest available ticket is currently priced at $68.

Hotels near Kansas City International Airport, which is located a quick drive away from Arrowhead, have rooms available for as low as $50, according to Hipmunk.com. Hipmunk also provides a hotel guide for the city of Kansas City, as well as the best green hotels in KC.

Sheeran is currently knee-deep on his own headlining tour across North America. The “Thinking Out Loud” singer will play U.S. and Canada dates through the end of September, making 46 more stops along the way.

The Zip Code tour officially kicks off on May 24 at Petco Park in San Diego. It will wind around North America through July 15, when it wraps at Festival d’ete Quebec in Quebec City.
