Eastside shooting claims 71st KCMO murder victim of 2010

Another bloody weekend in Kansas City: KCTV reports that a young man was shot to death around 3 a.m. on Sunday near 8th and Van Brunt.

No details have emerged so far, except that the man’s friend delivered him to a nearby police service station, where officers called an ambulance. To no avail: He was later pronounced dead.
