Eagle Watching

Are you ready for an exhibition? A Friday night scrimmage? You are, based on the buzz generated by the Kansas City Chiefs moving their practice facilities from Wisconsin to the bustling metropolis of St. Joseph. Yes, NFL preseason games are glorified practices and have very little to do with how a team might perform when games actually count. But Chiefs fans are excited about preseason, which continues with a 7 p.m. game against the Philadelphia Eagles. This Chiefs team looks different, buoyed by the most exciting rookie class in memory and the addition of veteran coordinators. Arrowhead Stadium (1 Arrowhead Drive) is different, too, thanks to a renovation. In a division that’s also different, the Chiefs could conceivably win a weaker AFC West. Special bonus: Friday night’s game features Michael Vick of the Eagles, providing KC fans the opportunity to hone their booing. Tickets cost $30 to $265. Call 800-745-3000.— Chris Rasmussen
