Driver distracted by texting slams into parked police car at 60 mph

Kansas police now have all the ammo they need for their next public service announcement against texting while driving. Take a look at the back of this Wichita police cruiser. A driver, who police say was texting while driving, crashed his SUV into the back of the police car while driving at around 60 mph, according to KAKE-TV. Remarkably, no one was seriously hurt.
The car belonged to Wichita police officer Eric Little, who had parked on the side of the road Wednesday evening so he could help a motorist change a flat tire. The crash sent the patrol car 100 feet down the highway. KAKE reported that the 42-year-old driver didn’t slow down or brake before hitting the cruiser. There are a lot of lucky people here.
