Doyle “Placenta Pic” Byrnes gets to go back to JCCC nursing school

Doyle Byrnes, one of four students kicked out of the Johnson County Community College nursing program for posting pictures of themselves with a human placenta on Facebook, gets to go back to school, KCTV Channel 5 reports.

U.S. District Judge Eric Melgren ordered JCCC to allow Byrnes and the three other students to be readmitted before classes resume January 19.

JCCC President Terry Calaway still sounded snippy after Melgren’s ruling, telling Channel 5, “We are disappointed with the court’s decision today…. We took what we believed to be appropriate action, but the court saw the

situation differently, so the student will be readmitted to the

program.”

That’s students, with an “s,” Terry.
