A year after its release, the Rosebuds’ third LP is getting an overhaul. Sweet Beats, Troubled Sleep (Night of the Furies Remixed) includes revisions from the likes of Bon Iver, Portastatic and Roger O’Donnell, keyboardist for the Cure and the Psychedelic Furs). “The remix of ‘I’d Better Run’ really reminded me that I love the Cure,” Rosebud Kelly Crisp tells The Pitch. “It’s clear now that it was his contributions that made Disintegration what it was to me, and so it’s really strange to hear myself rebuilt in a Roger O’Donnell world.” Download the 10-track album for free from the Rosebuds’ Merge Records label site.
