Tambourine Club isn’t the only act with a holiday recording available for free this year. Sam Billen has created and curated an amazingly ambitious 14-track endeavor called A Light Goes On. It features art, videos and music made by Billen and a swathe of other locals, all joining together to make the most amazing gift from the Kansas City music scene to the world that I think I’ve ever seen.
