Facebook keeps tinkering with its news algorithm. Here’s how to keep seeing The Pitch on there.

In early January, Facebook announced it would be showing less news in your News Feed. The social-media behemoth now appears to have changed its mind, though. Mark Zuckerberg recently announced that, going forward, Facebook will be showing more local news stories in your feed. Here are a few steps you can take to make sure you don’t miss anything from The Pitch.

Desktop or Laptop Computer

1. Go to The Pitch’s Facebook Page.

2. Look at the bar underneath our Cover Photo.

3. Make sure you “Like” us — if not, click the thumbs up.

4. To the right of the “Like” button, you’ll see “Follow.” Hover over it, then select “See First” and “On (Events, Suggested Live Videos).”

5. To modify your notifications from us, click the edit pencil button next to “Notifications.”

6. Now you won’t miss any updates from The Pitch.

Mobile Phone or Tablet

1. Go to The Pitch’s Facebook Page.

2. Look under our photo and name.

3. Make sure you “Like” us — if not, click the thumbs up.

4. Next to that, you’ll see the word “Follow” or “Following.” Click on that and select “See First.”

5. To modify your notifications from us, you can select “Edit Notifications Settings” from this same menu.

6. Now you won’t miss any updates from The Pitch.
