Derek Hubbard charged with murder in weekend triple homicide

• Derek Hubbard is accused of killing his estranged girlfriend and two other people.

Derek Hubbard allegedly killed his estranged girlfriend, Stephanie Brown, along with a couple inside a home at 24th and Lister Friday night around 10:19.

Hubbard allegedly got into an argument with Brown and Anthony Richardson inside the home. Hubbard is accused of trying to force Brown to leave with him before getting into a fight with Richardson. Court documents say Hubbard hit Brown in the head with his gun and asked her, “Why are you disrespecting me?”
