Dennis ‘Westcrook’ Westbrook of local rap crew Block Life convicted in cocaine trafficking ring

A federal jury convicted five Kansas City men in a large-scale cocaine-trafficking ring, and one of the men was a member of the local rap group Block Life.

The operation was running hundreds of kilograms of cocaine, worth millions of dollars, from Mexico to the Kansas City metro.

Among those convicted of participating in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana from January 2007 to August 2009:

* 37-year-old Adrian Dunn, also known as “A.D.”

* 42-year-old Vincent E. Charles, also known as “Zeno” or “Z”

* 54-year-old Danny R. Moore

* 38-year-old Cheo D. Miles

* 31-year-old Dennis Westbrook, also known as “Westcrook”

Dunn, Moore and Westbrook were also convicted of using a telephone to facilitate the distribution of cocaine and marijuana.

Westbrook is a member of Block Life.
