Dennis ‘The Highway Robber’ Hastert stumping for Todd Tiahrt this afternoon

Dennis Hastert, the former House speaker who Rolling Stone dubbed “The Highway Robber” and the No. 1 worst congressman, will be at Johnson County Republican HQ in Overland Park this afternoon campaigning for Todd Tiahrt’s Senate run.

If you’re just now finding out about Hastert’s appearance, your invite must have gotten lost in the mail. Hastert appears with Tiahrt at “invitation only” events.

Tiahrt is running against Congressman Jerry Moran for U.S. Sen. Sam Brownback’ seat. Hastert is obviously endorsing Tiahrt.

If you did get an invite, probably best to not say anything about “page boys.”
