David Sedaris is coming to…the middle of Kansas
Don’t know about y’all, but I’ve lately come down with a case of the “I’ve got to get the fuck out of this city for at least a day” blues. I’ve found oddball towns in Kansas and Missouri to be a workable cure for that ailment. Last year, I traveled to Salina, Kansas, to do a story on the very impressive vinyl-records operation Acoustic Sounds, which is headquartered there. It’s worth a day trip, I’d say. Particularly so if you can line it up with an event.
Might I suggest Thursday, March 13, when the reliably great essayist/humorist David Sedaris comes to visit the Stiefel Theatre? Tickets, which are on sale now, run between $38 and $55.
