David Love murder case gets the TV treatment again

TV producers just can’t stay away from the case of Independence’s best-known admitted murderer, David Love. Love’s affair with Teresa Stone and subsequent murder of Stone’s husband, Randy Stone, has already been the subject of Dateline and 48 Hours. Now it will be the subject of Investigation Discovery’s “new sultry series” Poisoned Passions on Saturday at 9 p.m. The episode is appropriately titled “Passionate Pastor Affair.”
The story certain has all the elements of long-weekend, veg-out viewing: Love was pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, where the Stones were members. He and Teresa Stone reportedly had a years-long affair, which ended with Randy Stone’s murder at his insurance office in Independence. Love then went on the run and was discovered in South Carolina working as a trucker. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in November 2011. Watch a super-sexy clip after the jump.
