David Glass lauds himself for being patient with Royals

Royals owner David Glass is cute. He talks about building a winning baseball team as if he’s done it before.

Glass got into the What It Takes discussion while killing the dream putting to rest the notion that he’s exploring a sale of the team, a rumor peddled by Jack Harry, the clown prince of TV sports news in Kansas City. Telling The Kansas City Star he has no interest in selling, Glass said that he is excited for the team’s future. Then, unbelievably, he patted himself on the back, saying, “I really think we’ve done it the right way – as painful as it’s been.”
