David George Band posts acoustic demo for “Radiant Man”

Since former Moaning Lisa frontman David George returned to the Kansas City area over a year ago, he has released a new album, Love/Life, and played a series of well-received solo gigs and full-band appearances. The first new music since the release of that album almost a year ago just made its way online, and it’s an acoustic demo of the song “Radiant Man.” It’s a little more rough-and-ready than the usual slick pop that the band purveys, and it brings to mind alt-country troubadours like Chad Rex or Jon Snodgrass of Drag the River.
