David Barry shot and killed in Olathe; Robert Ward charged in the slaying
UPDATE (September 21): Johnson County prosecutors have charged 34-year-old Robert Ward with first-degree murder in Sunday’s homicide in Olathe. Authorities found 36-year-old David Barry shot to death at a home at 516 East Brier Drive around 8:01 p.m. Ward was arrested in a wooded area a couple of hours after the slaying.
Ward is scheduled to be in court on September 29.
