Daniel and Tracza Everitt, parents of child found walking street, arrested for child endangerment

The parents of a young girl found wandering alone near Independence Avenue and Wilson Monday morning have been issued a summons for endangering the welfare

of a child.

Kansas City police say Daniel S. Everitt, 32, and Tracza L.

Everitt, 24, were arrested Monday, and the Department of Family Services has taken custody of the couple’s three children — 4-year-old Selena and

her two brothers, ages 6 and 8.
