Crane Brewing Co. co-hosts a beer fest September 5

Crane Brewing Co. is going to have a busy first year. 

Besides opening a 15-barrel brewhouse in Raytown, Michael Crane and his team is hosting a beer fest Labor Day weekend. 

The Festival of the Lost Township takes place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 5, at 62nd and Raytown Road.

* Crane (The folks at Crane Brewing are still unsure if they’ll be able to pour beer by festival time.)

* Martin City Brewing Co.
* Mother’s Brewing Co.
* Odell
* Rock & Run Brewery 
* Root Sellers
* Santa Fe Brewing Co.
* Torn Label Brewing Co.

The festival will also have a homebrew tents.  (Click here to apply.) A people’s choice award will be given to one homebrewer — along with a kegerator. 

Expect music (Favorite Daze headlines), food trucks and more. 

Tickets cost $35 ($40 at the door) for general admission and $100 for VIP, which allows entry an hour early (11 a.m.) and beer-and-food pairings from eight chefs, including Celina Tio (Julian, Belfry), Jason Craine (Charisse) and more. Best of all, designated drivers get in free.
