Craig K. Sowell, KCMO homicide No. 55, dies from gunshot wound

A man who was found wounded at 3:45 a.m. on Sunday died at the hospital.

The sound of gunshots summoned police to what KMBC identifies as an apartment building near East 63rd Street and Interstate 435. One of shooting victims, Craig K. Sowell, 26, died at the hospital.
