Courvosier As A Function of H to the Izzo

Math humor is not cool. Examples:

There are 10 kinds of mathematicians. Those who can understand binary and those who can’t.

Old mathematicians never die; they just lose some of their functions.

An engineer, a physicist and a mathematician are staying in a hotel.

The engineer wakes up and smells smoke. He goes out into the hallway and sees a fire, so he fills a trash can from his room with water and douses the fire. He goes back to bed.

Later, the physicist wakes up and smells smoke. He opens his door and sees a fire in the hallway. He walks down the hall to a fire hose and after calculating the flame velocity, distance, water pressure, trajectory, etc. extinguishes the fire with the minimum amount of water and energy needed.

Later, the mathematician wakes up and smells smoke. He goes to the hall, sees the fire and then the fire hose. He thinks for a moment and then exclaims, “Ah, a solution exists!” and then goes back to bed.

That is why we need charts, such as the example to right. “Rap Represented In Mathematical Charts and Graphs” is fairly hit and miss, but what hits, hits hard and hilariously. There are two references to Ice Cube‘s “It Was A Good Day,” but neither are the classic flow chart. Tech N9ne is represented, which is awesome, as are Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. Look for your favorites — of, and for those of you who aren’t hip-hop savvy, there are linked-in videos so you can get the joke (see below for the Luniz).
