Cops is filming in Springfield … but they should make the two-hour drive to Party Cove

It’s too bad that Cops is filming only in Springfield. The News-Leader is reporting that the Fox reality TV series is tagging along with officers there for the next few weeks.

But I’d say their resources could be better spent going to Party Cove, the infamous party spot at the Lake of the Ozarks that former Pitch writer Ben Paynter covered in 2006. Now that would be compelling television.
