Cloud Nothings play KC with Toro Y Moi

Fuzzed-out rockers Cloud Nothings are opening for the bleached electro sounds of Toro Y Moi on a nationwide tour. One of the dates is at the Riot Room, where local bedroom-pop act Saharan Gazelle Boy will be opening for both bands. The date is April 1. The last time Toro Y Moi was in town, its set was underwhelming — but it’s hoped that, this time, chillwave auteur Chaz Bundick won’t have lost his voice.
