Claire McCaskill spoils Republican rumor: She is ‘absolutely’ running for re-election

McCaskill has killed the rumor that she’s not running for re-election in 2012 dead; she told the St.

Louis Beacon that she will “absolutely” defend her World Heavyweight Senate seat in 2012 (if the world doesn’t end).

“Anybody who thinks I’m not running in 2012 doesn’t know me very well,” McCaskill said while breathing fire Wednesday. “I love this state and I will fight to

represent it. I understand the frustration of Missourians, and I’m going

to work as hard as I know how to earn their trust and their confidence

so that they will hire me again for another six years.”
